Hi my name is Pam I am one of the founders of "Saddle Up For The Cure". You all know why and how we started this group so I will just tell you about me personally. I have 11 children, 8 girls and 3 boys. My three son's are adopted, three girls are foster daughters, three girls are step daughters and two girls are biological. But my kids are my kids, I Love them all beyond belief. I was born in Colorado and moved to Verndale in 1974 where I finished high school.
I truly believe in and LOVE what we do; I pray constantly that we can raise enough money to help more people who are fighting Breast Cancer. Every day I Praise GOD for choosing me to do this, what a Blessing to know that He trusted me to do this. But I have to say that without the members of our little group I could not do this, what a great bunch of people. So if you see us in Parades please give what you can to the kids as they come by. If you know someone who needs our help, or if you want to join our group or just ride with us in Parades or on trail rides let us know. Thank you and GOD Bless

Hi my name is Heidi. I am one of the founders of "Saddle Up For The Cure" I have been riding horses since I was 3. So when my mom and I were thinking about how we could do our part in the fight against Breast cancer it only made sense. I have 11 Brothers and Sisters and one Beautiful little girl. Because I was raised in a large family, when my grandma was in her battle with breast cancer I seen how important it was to have a lot of help and support. It means a lot to me to be able to be there for others going through this devastating fight.
Hi my name is Bonnie and I feel so honored to ride with this group. Our love for our Lord and our love for our horses along with the passion we have to help people who are going through breast cancer has made this the perfect group for me to be involved with. I have made some life time friends who have become family to our family. I have been married for 42 years and have been blessed with 4 children and 16 grand children.
I feel very privileged to be able to ride with some of my kids and grand kids we make 3 generations riding in the parades and some that don't ride carry the banner and walk the route for donations. I look forward to seeing you while we ride in area parades give us a shout and God Bless

Hello, my name is Heather and I have been a part of the Saddle Up For The Cure group since it's beginning. I have been riding since I was 3 years old and it has become my passion, my therapy, and just a regular hobby for me. I currently own 6 horses all but one are not registered. I have done training 2 of my horses I have trained myself and I have continued others training and re started a few. I have a gelding named Blue that is completely blind but, don't let that fool you as he is extremely smart and finds his way around the pasture without help, and another named Jax that is blind in one eye.
I work full time and am a single mother of 3 wonderful boys! Jaron my oldest helps carry the banner every year through the parades and even picked out this year's colors! He has been walking in the parades since the first year. I have a set of identical twins Jaxon and Jayden that started walking in the parades the second year and have continued since helping to collect donations. They also started horse back riding last fall and have been learning very quickly! I hope to see you when we are out and about through the coming years!
